Behavioural ecology
Behavioural ecology explores how animal behaviours have evolved in response to their environments. This research helps to foster a deeper understanding of the natural world that can be used to aid conservation efforts, predict how species might react to environmental change, and can provide clues as to the evolutionary origins of diverse behaviours.
Each of our research themes bring together a diverse set of researchers from within the Department and beyond. Follow the links to their full profiles to find out more about their research interests.
