I'm a postgraduate research with the Marine Predator Ecology and Conservation research group in the CEC.

Research interests
Behavioural ecology, marine ecology; conservation of elasmobranchs and teleosts; population and assemblage ecology; foraging and habitat ecology; elasmobranch research; fisheries management.
Research projects
My doctoral thesis looks to define a novel framework for studying animal behaviour in the marine environment. The framework enables predictions of animal space use based on a statistical representation of their energy seascape. This representation is formulated using Bayesian statistics, incorporating the various ways in which energy is acquired, stored, allocated, and used. I am applying this framework and novel methodology in juvenile lemon sharks, in a mangrove nursery, and addressing several questions related to their movement and behaviour.
