Overview
My research interest is conservation science, using ecological and socio-economic data to achieve outcomes that are appropriate for nature and people. Currently I am working on my PhD, whereby I am investigating the data collected during 20 years of marine turtle conservation in Watamu, Kenya. This fieldwork was carried out by Local Ocean Conservation, a local grassroots NGO, where I was the manager from 2014 to 2018.
