Ecology and Conservation
My PhD examines the following themes: biotelemetry in avian translocations, resource selection modelling and drivers of differential strategies and seasonal ranging behaviour in partial migrant populations. Research topics are applied to populations of hen harriers (Circus cyaneus) occupying farmland landscapes of France and Spain as a study system, principally through the analysis of biotelemetry and remote-sensed environmental data. I am a Principal Officer for Natural England in the Devon, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Team and a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) as a full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
