Postgraduate Researcher
Ecology and Conservation
I graduated from Durham University with a BSc in Biological Sciences before completing an MSc in Biodiversity and Global Change at University College London, where I researched phylogenetic patterns of extinction risk in mammals. My experience spans species conservation, behavioural ecology and ecological research, including fieldwork and wildlife monitoring in the UK and Central America.
My PhD at the University of Exeter, supervised by Dr Barbara Tschirren, Dr Irene Bueno Padilla, Dr Xavier Harrison and Professor Mario Recker, investigates antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in gamebirds from a One Health perspective, combining molecular approaches, ecological fieldwork and spatial modelling to understand the transmission of resistance across wildlife, agriculture and the environment.
