Ecology and Conservation

I am an ecologist and conservation biologist, with expertise in how biodiversity responds to environmental change, cryptic species, remote sensing approaches for wildlife monitoring, biogeography, and applied conservation. Much of my research has focused on nocturnal lemurs and other cryptic animal groups endemic to the forests of Madagascar, but my broad research interests extend to many taxonomic groups, habitat types, and ecological processes. In addition to my desk-based ecological modelling and statistical skills, I have amassed a wealth of fieldwork experience over the last 12 years, and have led field-based research in Madagascar, Ghana, Vietnam, Kenya, and the UK.
