Dr Dave Hudson
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Ecology and Conservation
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Exeter where I combine my passion for ecological research with my love for teaching and mentoring. My work primarily involves developing and applying Bayesian methods to enhance multi-model inference in ecological studies, with a focus on survival analysis, population demography and evolutionary questions in wild populations.
In addition to my research, I actively contribute to the academic community through teaching, curriculum development, and supporting early career researchers. I am a member of the Early Career Researcher Committee and represent ECR's on the University campus level Research Committee. I have broad teaching experience having previously been a Secondary school teacher and have used those skills teaching on various modules and fieldtrips and developing online training courses.
