About me:
I am interested in how bacteria evolve and interact with their environment. This includes studying how the interactions between mobile genetic elements and bacterial defence systems affect bacterial evolution and ecology.
My group is currently investigating how beneficial soil bacteria interact with plants and promote their growth, using Azospirillum spp. as a model.
