About me:
I am interested in how bacteria evolve and interact with their environment. This includes studying mobile genetic elements, defence systems and horizontal gene transfer, in particular how they affect bacterial evolution and ecology. I'm currently working with beneficial bacteria from the Azospirillum Genus and examining how they evolve and interact with plants.
